Where would you find a cat called "Clitty", a Minah bird called "Snatch", two lesbians, three gay men and associated friends and lovers? The coffee shop in Cockermouth-cum-down called "Swallows", that's where.

"Swallows-do you?" is not for the prudish or the innocent, it is rude to the extreme, explicit in it's content and is just what the Gay and Lesbian community has been waiting for. A "Soap" of their own, without the restraints that Television imposes on how they show Gay life.

The show is written by a Gay man, the male actors are Gay and it is produced free of constraints

The characters are over the top in their approach to, and how they live their life, doing things that some of us only think about.

The show centers around a coffee shop in Cockermouth-cum-down, which says it all really! The shop is run by two guys Mark and Bob, who are soon introduced to the wilder side of life by their new lodger Ricky, an ex sailor, with a past he is trying to hide.
